Fratmen Host Grizzlies in Playoff Game

The Windsor AKO Fratmen (7-1) will battle with the GTA Grizzlies (2-6) in OFC playoff action this weekend.

The game is set for Sunday at 5 p.m. at the University of Windsor's Alumni Field.

The Fratmen and Grizzlies met twice during the regular season.

AKO won both games by scores of 26-0 in Windsor and then was victorious again in Toronto, doubling up GTA by a score of 60-30.

AKO head coach, Mike LaChance says they're looking forward to the game.

"We're really excited and had an excellent practice last night and you can tell the playoff intensity if ramping up with the guys and we're getting healthy at the right time and it's an exciting time to be part of the family," says LaChance.

LaChance tells AM800 News they aren't taking GTA lightly.

"Well game one we won 29-nothing and they're the only team to hold us under 30, and in the second game we put up 60, but then they came back with a 30 on us," says LcChance. "Not many teams put 30 on us and not many teams hold us under 30."

The Fratmen boast the best offense in the league scoring 375 points during the season.

The Fratmen are riding a five-game winning streak heading into the playoffs.
