An 'Honourable Mention'  for the Windsor Spitfires in the latest Canadian Hockey League Top-10 rankings.

"It means a lot to us," says Spits defenceman Grayson Ladd. "It shows how we have worked hard throughout the season because we weren't there at the start of the season and now that we are an honourable mention in the rankings, I think that is great for ourselves."

The Spits are tied for second in the West Division, one point behind the Flint Firebirds.

Windsor is 9-3-1 this season and has won five in a row.

But Ladd adds what matters is what happens on the ice.

"I think we still need to push really hard until at least the break and then when we get back from the break, put on a good strong playoff push," he says.

The top OHL team in the rankings is the Oshawa Generals at 11-2-0-1.

The Spits take on Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday.
