Intoxicated Man Charged After Attending Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters

A Tilbury man had one too many.

Chatham-Kent police say an intoxicated man attended police headquarters Wednesday afternoon and threatened the officer working the front desk.

According to police, the man was belligerent and was taken into custody because he was unable to care for himself.

The 62-year-old was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Police say he was released Wednesday night when he was sober.
