Just Three New Cases of COVID-19 Reported Saturday


For the fourth straight day, Windsor-Essex has recorded a COVID-19 increase in the single digits.

The local health unit is reporting three new cases of the virus Saturday.

Of those, one case is in a local health care worker, one is due to close contact with another confirmed case while the other is considered community acquired.

Saturday's numbers bring the region's total to 2,545 confirmed cases.

The region's death toll remains at 74 while 2,382 have made a full recovery after getting the virus.

One long-term care home in Leamington and one workplace in Tecumseh are under outbreak protocol.
