LaSalle police asking people in the town what they think of the service
People living in LaSalle have a chance to have their say on the job being done by the LaSalle Police Service.
A community survey has been launched to measure the effectiveness and gauge community satisfaction with the police service.
The seven question survey will focus on:
Perceptions of safety and security within the community
Personal interactions and experiences with LaSalle Police personnel
Perception of police effectiveness for seeking and creating community engagement
Perception of how LaSalle Police Service addresses your concerns
LaSalle Police Senior Constable Terry Seguin says they have conducted various surveys in the past but not a public one like this.
"This is the first survey that we've done publicly in some time. We do see some great value in putting this out to the public because it gives an avenue for the public to communicate directly with our service to help us approve," he says.
Seguin says this your chance to have a say how you feel and have your say about the future of our service.
A link to the survey can be found on the LaSalle Police Service website.
Police say all responses will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for improvement and accountability.
