Effective March 30, LCBO stores will be closed on Mondays with continued reduced hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in effect from Tuesday to Sunday.

The decision to close on Mondays moving forward was made following news that an LCBO store team member in the Toronto area tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a release, the LCBO says as this situation evolves, some stores may need to close without notice, adjust their hours and/or days of operation.

In addition to already elevated cleaning and sanitization protocols, LCBO says it is taking precautions to support physical distancing including measures to manage traffic flow with in the stores to avoid crowding. LCBO is also asking customers to pay with debit or credit as much as possible to reduce handling of cash.

Buying online is still an option, however LCBO says it is unable to confirm delivery dates because Canada Post has suspended home delivery of packages requiring proof of age, meaning that you will need to go to your nearest Canada Post depot to pick up your order.
