Leamington Loses in London, Vipers Crush Chatham


Mixed results for two local teams in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League on Wednesday.

At Western Fair in London, the Nationals dumped the Leamington Flyers 8-4.

Cal Davis scored twice to lead London's attack while goalie Devyn Clark made 25 saves to earn the win in goal.

The Flyers will try and bounce back on home ice Thursday night when they host the St Thomas Stars.

Meanwhile, the LaSalle Vipers offence was clicking as they blasted the Chatham Maroons at the Vollmer Centre 9-1.

Stephane Crevier paced the Vipers with three goals, while Evan Ferguson chipped in with a pair.

Sami Molu made 31 saves in goal to backstop LaSalle to the win.
