Man Dead After Car Crashes Through Walker Rd. Building

A Windsor man is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Walker Rd.

Emergency crews were called to the Canadian College of Science and Technology just before 2am Saturday where they found a blue vehicle flipped upside down.

The driver was extracted from the vehicle and sent to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the man was in his mid to late 40s.

Walker between Mohawk St. and Seneca St. was blocked for several hours while the accident reconstruction team investigated the scene.

A toxicology report is scheduled to determine if alcohol, drugs, speed or a medical condition played a roll in the crash.

The female driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

No charges are being laid at this point.
