More Help For Cottam's Murchada House
A charity that's building a house in Cottam to house people with exceptional needs has received a boost.
Murchada House has received two generous donations.
The group "100 Women Who Care" is making a donation of $10,000.
Another gift is from the O'Neil Foundation, a local organization that prefers not to disclose the size of the donation.
The group is trying to eliminate the long waiting list for youth with disabilities who need a home.
The home will accommodate four youth who need assistance and support for their daily living.
Construction of the home began in June.
