The NHL's Central Scouting list is out.

Five Windsor Spitfires have been named on the preliminary players to watch list for next year's NHL Draft.

Both forwards Will Cuylle and Jean-Luc Foudy are listed as 'A' ranked players, meaning they could go in the first round.

Three others, forward Kyle McDonald, and blue liners, Dylan Robinson and Ruben Rafkin are listed as 'C' prospects, meaning they could be taken between rounds 4 and 6.

"To see these guys in a couple years, where they're going to be, I think is really exciting for our fans but both Will and Jean-Luc here to be A-rated players," says General Manager Bill Bowler. "they know there is a ton of work ahead but they are special young men and they're as good as they are on the ice, believe it or not they're just as good off the ice as teammates."

Bowler tells says Kyle McDonald has definitely earned a 'C' prospect rating.

"To see Mac come out of the gate as good as he has, again, an NHL frame and Kyle's physical presence and the fact that he has a knack around the net, it's hard to find," he says.

Bowler goes on to say it's great to see a couple of Windsor blue liners on the list.

"Ruben Rafkin is a great addition and does a bit of everything and scouts are real high on the competitiveness. Young Dylan Robinson, an excellent year in LaSalle and has just developed and progressed unbelievable here so NHL people have taken notice and they should, because these to 'D' are instrumental in our hockey club."

Two other Spitfire draft picks, Luke Tuch and Hunter McKown, who both play with the U.S.U-18 team were also on the list, with Tuch a ‘B’ prospect and McKown listed as a C prospect.

Lakeshore's Ty Tullio of the Oshawa Generals — the son of General's owner Rocco Tullio — was also listed a a 'C' prospects.

The Spitfires are on the road this Friday in Kitchener and back home Saturday to Sarnia.
