The team who booted the Windsor Spitfires in the first round of last year's playoffs make their first of two visits to the WFCU Centre tonight.

Windsor welcomes the Kitchener Rangers to town, looking to get back in the win column after a tough time out last weekend.

The Spitfires are coming off a 7-6 overtime loss against Niagara on Saturday, while Kitchener were beaten 5-3 by Owen Sound.

Newly acquired defenceman Connor Toms is expected to make his debut, and Windsor will hope he can help keep pucks out of the net as the Spitfires continue to lead the OHL in goals against with 68 in 12 games played so far.

Windsor sits last overall in the league with a record of 3-8-1-0.

Despite the tough start for the team, forward Liam Greentree has been an early bright spot with 8 goals and 9 assists on the season.

Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m., with the AM800 pre-game show with Steve Bell getting underway at 6:50 p.m.

Following Thursday night's game at home, the Spits head north to Sault Ste. Marie for a pair of games against the Greyhounds this weekend.
