Rays Rip A's in Oakland

The Tampa Bay Rays are Houston-bound.  Yandy Diaz homered twice to lead the Rays to a 5-1 win over the Athletics in the AL wild card game in Oakland.  

Avisail Garcia and Tommy Pham hit solo shots to the victory.

Charlie Morton allowed one unearned run over five innings for the win.

The Rays will play the Astros in the ALDS starting Friday in Houston.

There are two MLB playoff games on Thursday.

Dallas Keuchel takes the mound  in Atlanta as the Braves host St. Louis is Game 1 of their National League Division Series.  Miles Mikolas is starting for the Cardinals.

Later Thursday night, the wild-card winning Washington Nationals play Game 1 of their N-L-D-S against the Dodgers.

Walker Buehler will start for L-A while Patrick Corbin goes for the Nationals.
