A pair of positive COVID-19 tests has resulted in another postponed game in the NFL.

New England Patriots signal caller Cam Newton and Kansas City Chiefs practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta'amu are the latest NFL players to test positive Saturday.

As a result, the Patriots/Chiefs game for Sunday has been called off and the league has stated it hopes the game can be played Monday or Tuesday.

According to the team, Newton is now self-isolating but had been in contact with several players and coaches. Those who were in contact with Newton have been tested and don't show signs of the virus.

The news comes on the same day three more players on the Tennessee Titans tested positive, bringing the team's total to 16.

Sunday's game between the Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers has been postponed as well.

Meantime, the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints game Sunday is a go.

A Saints player had tested positive for the virus, but a second test came back as a false positive.

Teams kick off at Ford Field at 1pm.
