Spitfires defeat Colts 4-1


For the first time this season, the Windsor Spitfires have posted back-to-back wins.

The Spitfires defeated the Barrie Colts 4-1 at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.

Goaltender Ian Michelone made 22 saves in the win, and Anthony Cristoforo scored the game-winning goal midway through the 2nd period.

Defenceman Carson Woodall had a goal and an assist for the Spits, who have now won four of their last six games.

The club is 4-2 under interim head coach Casey Torres.

On the season, the Spitfires are now 8-18-1-0.

Windsor is back in action tomorrow night at home against the Oshawa Generals.
