The Windsor Spitfires were doubled up 6-3 by the Oshawa Generals at the WFCU Centre Saturday night.

Spits centreman Jacob Maillet was quick to find the back of the net 1:08 into the game.

Oshawa scored five minutes later leaving the game tied 1-1 heading into the second period.

Maillet netted another goal assisted by Anthony Cristoforo and Liam Greentree.

The Generals answered back to tie up the game once more 2-2.

Spits centreman AJ Spellacy scored in third assisted by Noah Morneau but Oshawa scored four times, with two of those goals on an empty to take the win.

The Spitfires will continue their four game homestand Sunday afternoon when they welcome the Flint Firebirds to the WFCU Centre.

If you're headed to the game, you're encouraged to bring a teddy bear for the teddy bear toss in support of Sparky's Toy Drive. After the game, there's an opportunity to skate with the team as well.

Puck-drop is set for 4:05 p.m., with the pre-game show with Steve Bell getting underway at 3:50 p.m. on AM800.
