Spitfires Losing Streak Hits Three

The Windsor Spitfires have now lost three straight after a 3-2 loss to the Kitchener Rangers at the WFCU Centre Sunday.

Tyler Angle had a goal and an assist for Windsor in a losing effort. Axel Bergkvist netted the game winner for the Rangers in the dying minutes of the third period.

Spitfire rookie Xavier Medina stopped 33 shots in the loss.

Windsor (34-20-8-0-76) holds on to fifth spot in the OHL's Western Conference with just six games left in the regular season.

The Spitfires host the Saginaw Spirit at the WFCU Centre Thursday.
