After dropping two games in a row, the Windsor Spitfires are back in the win column with a 3-2 shoot out win over the visiting Barrie Colts Saturday.

Kari Piiroinen was solid in net for Windsor making 36-saves for the win.

Daniel D'Amico scored the shoot out winner for the Spitfires.

This was the homecoming for former Spitfires owner and GM Warren Rychel — he's now the head coach for Barrie.

The WFCU Centre aired a special tribute video for Rychel prior to the game highlighting the three Memorial Cups Windsor won while he was with the team.

Up next, a quick turnaround for the Spitfires — they're on the road Sunday afternoon to take on the Mississauga Steelheads.

The AM800 pre-game show goes at 1:45pm with puck drop scheduled for 2pm.
