Spitfires Win Back-to-Back Games Over Sting

The Windsor Spitfires ended the OHL pre-season on a high note.

The Spits smoked Sarnia 9-4 Sunday afternoon at the WFCU Centre in Windsor.

It was the second game in a home-and-home between the two division rivals with Windsor winning 4-2 Friday night in Sarnia.

Pasquale Zito had two goals and two assists in the win.

Luke Boka and Matthew Maggio also had two goals each while Cole Purboo, Chris Playfair and Will Cuylle had one goal each for Windsor.

The Spitfires open the season at home to Peterborough on Saturday, September 21 at 7:05pm.
