VIDEO: Spitfires Win Third Straight


The Windsor Spitfires have won three straight and sit alone atop the OHL's West Division after a 5-3 win over the Saginaw Spirit at the WFCU Centre Sunday.

Five Spitfires scored with Grayson Ladd and Thomas Stevenson leading Windsor with two helpers each. Rookie Pasquale Zito scored the game winner for the Spitfires early in the second period.

Ryan Suzuki had a goal and two assist for the Spirit.

Kari Piiroinen made 25 saves for Windsor to secure the win. 

Windsor (27-9-5-0-59) sits in second place in the Western Conference, one point behind the Kitchener Rangers (27-11-4-2-60), who haven't lost in regulation over the past 12 games.

The Spitfires will host the London Knights at the WFCU Centre Thursday at 7pm.
