Another packed house for the latest ward meeting in the city.

On Wednesday, ward eight city councillor Gary Kaschak met with about 75 residents at Seventh-day Adventist Church on Haig Ave.

Kaschak addressed the residents and then took a handful of questions.

He says a number of issues were brought up including sidewalks, community housing conditions, parks, speeding as well as flooding in some areas.

"I get these questions all the time about traffic and speeding and different things like that," says Kaschak.  "Parks, roads and sewers so that's the main breath this ward, a lot of things I was ready for."

Kaschak says he was pleased to see the turnout and felt there was a buzz in the room.

"I figured it was a new councillor taking over for a long time popular councillor so a lot of people going to want to come out see who the new guy really is, see what he's got to say," says Kaschak.  "I was expecting this kind of a crowd and I'm glad there was and I'm glad there's lots of passionate Windsorites."

Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens was also in attendance.

Ward 2 city councillor Fabio Costante hold his ward meeting on Thursday.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Church of the Ascension on University Ave W.
