Suspect Wanted Following Election Sign Damage
The public is being asked to help identify a man believed to be destroying election signs in Kingsville and Leamington.
In September, Chatham-Kent-Leamington Liberal candidate Katie Omstead reported several of her election signs had been damaged.
OPP have now released a description of a suspect.
He's described as an older man with white hair operating an older model black pick-up truck.
Anyone with information is being asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
Provincial police are reminding people that it is a criminal offence to remove or damage official election signs.
You can also be charged with trespassing if found on private property.
