Talks Continue as School Strike Deadline Looms
Talks between the union representing 55,000 education workers and the province continue Sunday with Monday's strike deadline quickly approaching.
Members of CUPE have threatened to walk off the job Monday morning if no progress is made in contract talks with the province.
At least two dozen school boards across Ontario have said they'll shut down classes if there is a strike.
Locally, Catholic and French Catholic schools will be closed if no deal is reached while public boards say all of their schools will remain open.
