The NFL Is Back
The NFL's 100th season kicks off tonight with its oldest rivalry.
The Chicago Bears will host their longtime rivals, the Green Bay Packers.
The NFC North rivals have played nearly 200 total games against each other, which NFL.com says is the most by any opposing teams in league history.
Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been a problem for the Bears over his career, beating them in 16 of 21 starts.
It marks the debut of new Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur.
Mike McCarthy was fired late last season and the Packers went on to miss the playoffs at 6-9-and-1. Chicago has its sights set high after winning the division last season with a 12-and-4 record.
The Bears and Packers split their two regular-season meetings last year, with each winning a close game at home.
Chicago may not have tight end Trey Burton. He's a game-time decision due to a groin injury suffered last week.
The game is scheduled to get started at 8:20 p.m. on CTV and TSN.
