Third phase of Bright Lights adjustments underway
Preparations and equipment installations for Bright Lights Windsor are continuing, and the City of Windsor has communicated additional adjustments that are taking place at Jackson Park.
Additions to the perimeter fencing were being installed on Thursday, enclosing the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Gardens area as well as the pergola and public washrooms.
Officials say access to the park from the gates at the intersection of Ouellette Avenue and Tecumseh Road will also be closed.
These are in addition to the first and second phases of adjustments that began earlier this month.
It's now under a month until the lights turn on for the season, which is set to run from December 1 to January 7.
Over 100,000 people enjoyed the dazzling displays, top-notch local vendors and vibrant holiday entertainment at last year's event.
