UAW contract voting closes at 4 PM
(Detroit, MI) -- Voting by the United Auto Workers on their tentative contract agreements with all three Detroit automakers ends today.
Ford and Stellantis workers are expected to approve the deal, but there's speculation that General Motors workers might not.
The Arlington, Texas GM facility approved the contract yesterday but senior workers are pushing a no vote, saying it does not help them as they prepare to retire.
An announcement on the vote is expected tomorrow.
