UPDATE: Police Searching for 'Armed and Dangerous' Suspects
Windsor police are searching for two suspects considered armed and dangerous after an incident on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to the scene in the 2400 block of McDougall Street around 4:15 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
According to police, a man left his home to check out a vehicle in the area that had recently been damaged.
Two men were seen with firearms and at least one of the men fired shots at the victim who was not injured.
Officers then found a second man inside a home with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.
Police say several shell casings were found in the area and the Forensic Identification Unit attended and processed the scene.
No firearms have been recovered and the suspects fled prior to police arrival at the scene.
The suspects are described as men between 6’ and 6’5”, wearing black hooded sweaters, black pants masks that pulled up from the neck and one of the men had red trim around the hood of is sweater and one was wearing a backpack.
They were last seen running north in the alley between the 2400 block of Howard Avenue and Highland Avenue.
The investigation is ongoing and police are also looking for any home or dash-cam surveillance video that may have captured the suspects.
Anyone who lives in the area or was driving in the area around the time of the incident is asked to check their video.
