VIDEO: Brown Faces Possible Suspension

It's quickly becoming a soap opera in Oakland.

ESPN reports the Raiders are planning to suspend Antonio Brown after the star NFL receiver and general manager Mike Mayock "got into it" on Wednesday.

Brown voiced his displeasure with fines from the team and posted a letter he received from the club on social media, which led to the exchange with Mayock.

The Athletic reports Brown was apparently held back by several teammates during the argument.

Mayock did not go into detail in a brief meeting with reporters, saying "Brown is not in the building Thursday and he won't be practicing."

Brown was fined for missing time during last month's training camp.

After his first absence, Mayock issued a statement saying the Raiders needed to know if Brown was "all-in or all-out." after off-season issues.  Brown missed time with frostbite on his feet from a cryotherapy mishap and his public dispute with the NFL over his helmet.

The Raiders acquired Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers in an off-season trade and signed him to a three-year contract extension, which contains $30-million in guaranteed money.

Brown had threatened to retire over the helmet issue and filed two grievances against the league, which he lost.
