The Washington Nationals scored three times in the eighth inning to rally past the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in the National League wild card game in D.C.

Juan Soto lined a single with the bases loaded to score two and the go-ahead run came across when Trent Grisham misplayed the ball in right field.

Trea Turner earlier hit a solo homer for the Nats, who move on to play the Dodgers in MLB's NL Division Series.

Stephen Strasburg got the win in relief after Max Scherzer allowed three early runs on two homers.  Daniel Hudson got the save.

Yasmani Grandal launched a two-run shot in the first for Milwaukee and Eric Thames added a solo blast in the second.

Josh Hader allowed three runs, including two earned, in the eighth to get charged with the loss.
