The same winds that could cause flooding along Lake Erie might cause damage on land this weekend.

Environment Canada issued a wind warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent Saturday.

Wind gust are projected to creep up to 80km/h Sunday morning and peak at 110km/h heading into the afternoon.

Building damage and power outages are possible as winds knock down tree branches and toss items around, according to Environment Canada.
