Windsor Falls 6-3 to Rival London Knights

Windsor lost this round in the battle of the 401 and dropped to second in the OHL's Western Conference, falling 6-3 to the London Knights at the WFCU Centre Thursday night.

Curtis Douglas and Will Cuylle led the Spitfires with a goal and an assist a piece. 

Luke Evangelista and Nathan Dunkley both had a goal and two assists to lead the Knights.

Windsor's Kari Piiroinen was pulled in favour of rookie Xavier Medina in the third period after surrendering five goals on 25 shots.

The loss snaps a three game winning streak for the Spitfires and drops them one point behind the Kitchener Rangers and Saginaw Spirit, who are tied for top spot in the Western Conference with 60 points each.

Windsor heads to Sarnia to face the Sting Sunday at 4pm.
