Windsor Man Charged in Drug Raid


A Windsor man has been arrested following a drug raid near the downtown.

As AM800 News told you yesterday, police were conducting an investigation focused on a home on Mercer and Elliott.

Five adults left the home under police direction, but were released without charges.

Earlier in the day yesterday, police had arrested a suspect on Tuscarora St. 

Suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine were seized.

Police say the investigation centered around illegal drugs that were destined for sale on the streets. 

David Meadows, 41, of Windsor has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of recognizance.
