Windsor police cordoned off area near downtown core

Police continue to hold a house near downtown Windsor as part of a weapons call investigation.

According to Windsor police, officers cordoned off an area in the 300-block of Elliott Street West between Dougall Avenue and Church Street late Sunday afternoon.

Police say the area has reopened but few details have been released, including whether there were any injuries.
