Windsor's Jobless Rate Increases

Another jump in Windsor's jobless rate.

Statistics Canada reports the rate rose to 7.5% in December from 7% in November.

That's the third-highest in the country.

The national rate dipped to 5.6% as more than 35,000 jobs were added.

According to Stats Canada, Ontario and Quebec led the way with Ontario adding more than 25,000 jobs and Quebec saw an increase of 21,000 jobs.

In November, the national rate was 5.9%.
