Windsor Spitfires on four-game losing skid after loss in Saginaw; Teams to play rematch Sunday

The Windsor Spitfires are on a four-game losing skid after a 3-1 loss to the Spirit in Saginaw Saturday night. 

Saginaw netted two goals in the first period, with one of those successfully challenged for the Spirit being offside. 

In the second, Saginaw scored on a powerplay with Spitfires right winger Oliver Peer answering back 19 seconds later assisted by Jacob Maillet. 

Saginaw scored once again in the second giving them a 3-1 win. 

The two teams return to Windsor for a rematch Sunday afternoon at the WFCU Centre. 

Puck-drop is set for 4:05 p.m., with the pre-game show with Steve Bell at 3:50 p.m. on AM800.
