19-year-old Inverness County man charged with sexual assault
A 19-year-old from Sugar Camp is facing sexual assault charges involving two victims in relation to incidents that occurred in Inverness County.
The RCMP say Hunter James Smith is charged with three counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.
He also faces two counts each of luring a child and indecent acts.
Smith was released from custody, with conditions, on October 6th and is scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on October 26th.
Police are reaching out to the community in the event there are additional victims.
