Appeal hearing Tuesday for Catherine Campbell's killer
An appeal hearing is set for Tuesday morning for the man convicted of murdering off-duty Truro police officer, Cst. Catherine Campbell.
A jury convicted Christopher Garnier of second-degree murder in Campbell's death in December 2017.
Garnier is appealing his conviction and sentence.
The appeal hearing will be streamed live on the N.S. courts website.
Campbell was murdered in September 2015.
Her body was found a few days after she was reported missing, in thick brush near Halifax's Macdonald Bridge.
