Charges pending after Port Hawkesbury drug bust


The RCMP say charges are pending after a drug bust in Port Hawkesbury on Tuesday.

Police say five people were arrested as Inverness District RCMP searched a home on Trainor Drive.

Officers seized cocaine, cutting agent, scales, packaging material, score sheets, cell phones, and drug paraphernalia.

All of the individuals who were arrested have been released.

The RCMP say police expect to lay charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking as well as trafficking cocaine.
