Cumberland Colchester candidates to debate the issues in Wentworth


If you're looking to hear from Cumberland Colchester candidates ahead of this month's federal election, there's an all candidates meeting in Wentworth Wednesday evening.

The meeting is being held at the Wentworth Recreation Centre (13752 Highway 4, Wentworth) and will begin at 7 p.m.

Organizers describe the event as a chance for the local candidates to share their views and debate the issues.

There will also be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.  

There are eight candidates running in Cumberland Colchester.

They are William Archer of the People's Party of Canada, Conservative Scott Armstrong, Jason Blanch for the Green Party, New Democrat Larry Duchesne, National Citizens Alliance of Canada party leader Stephen J Garvey, Jody O'Blenis with the Veterans Coalition Party of Canada, Independent candidate Matthew V. Rushton and Liberal Lenore Zann

Election day is October 21.
