Equipment stolen from out-of-province power restoration crews: NSP
Nova Scotia Power says equipment has been stolen from the trucks of out-of-province power restoration crews.
The utility says gear was stolen from locked E. Holland and K-Line trucks parked at hotels in the Kearney Lake area of Halifax, Burnside Industrial Park, Bedford Highway and Stellarton, while crews from New Brunswick and Ontario got some much-needed sleep.
Stihl chainsaws and Milwaukee drill kits that look like those in the pictures below were stolen.
NSP is asking that if you see someone trying to sell the gear to report it to police.
