Gas prices down, diesel up in N.B.

The price of gas has dropped in New Brunswick for the fifth straight week, but not by much.

Regular self-serve gas sits at a new maximum of an even $1.20 per litre this morning.

It's the third week in a row that the price has gone down by half a cent per litre.

Diesel, meanwhile, is up 1.6 cents per litre to a maximum of $1.292.

Most gas stations sell for a few cents less than the maximum.

Nova Scotia's fuel prices will be set at midnight.
