Halifax Police charge man for threats

Halifax Police have charged a man for making threatening comments online.

Police received a report on May 12 of a man threatening to harm people on a social media site.

A release states at approximately 2:30 p.m. May 13, a man was arrested and a residence on Knightsridge Drive in Halifax was searched.

Officers seized numerous knives during the search.

Halifax Regional Police say 41-year-old Ryan Kenneth Crouse of Halifax was scheduled to appear in court Thursday to face charges including uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death and weapons offences.
