Man and woman facing child abduction charges
Nova Scotia RCMP say a man and a woman are facing child abduction charges as part of a missing person investigation.
Police received a report of a missing 14-year-old youth around 4:40 p.m. Monday.
The initial investigation indicated the youth may have been in the Conquerall Mills area with a woman they knew.
RCMP say the woman, the youth and a man were found walking along Conquerall Road Tuesday morning and the adults were arrested without incident.
A release states a 29-year-old Kings County woman and a 31-year-old Lunenburg County man are facing charges of Abduction of a Person under Age of 16 and are due in court in November.
The man and woman were released on conditions to have no contact with the youth.
Police say the 14-year-old youth is now safe.
