Man arrested after weapons complaint in Clementsvale
A 42-year-old man from Clementsvale is facing numerous charges following a weapons complaint on Thursday.
Police responded to the report in the Victoria Road East area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Annapolis District RCMP was joined in the search by members of Digby RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Air Services, and the Nova Scotia RCMP Emergency Response Team.
The man was arrested around 4 p.m. on Saturday on Victoria Road East and is being held in custody pending a court appearance today.
The RCMP say he's facing two counts each of careless use of a firearm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, in addition to one count each of assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized.
