Man charged with stunting on Highway 102 in Fall River
A 54-year-old Fall River man has been charged with stunting on Highway 102 in the community on Sunday.
At approximately 1:00 p.m. July 19 a member of Southeast Traffic Services spotted a car travelling at a high rate of speed.
A release states the officer activated the RADAR and measured the car's speed at 167 km/h, 57 km/h over the speed limit, in a 110 km/h zone.
Police say the officer stopped the car and the man was charged with Stunting under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act.
The fine for stunting in Nova Scotia is $2,422.50.
