Mounties probing theft from Cole Harbour construction site
Halifax District RCMP is requesting public help in solving a theft of tools from a construction site in Cole Harbour Thursday morning.
Police say someone noticed the tools were missing from the container they were stored in around 7:30 a.m., adding the tools had been seen around 7:00 a.m. that same morning.
The missing items include a gasoline GX160 Mikasa Tamper, a 14-inch H760 Husqvarna cut off saw and a yellow and black Wacker jumping jack.
RCMP would like to speak to a man seen in the area at the time of the incident.
He's described as a black man with a lighter complexion in his 20s to 30s, wearing an orange vest and driving an older black GMC 2500.
Police say the vehicle is described as having a small amber light on the roof and the driver's door handle broken off.
