No new cases of COVID-19 reported in N.S. on Monday, four active cases remain


Nova Scotia has four active cases of COVID-19.

The last reported new cases in the province happened on Saturday, when it was announced that three new cases were confirmed on Friday in the Central zone.

One person with an active case is being treated in ICU in hospital.

To date, the province has 101,310 negative tests, 1,092 confirmed cases, and 65 deaths.

There are six new cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick, all related to two ongoing outbreaks in the Campbellton and Moncton regions, bringing the province's number of active cases to 76.

All of the new Moncton cases are people over 50 and linked to the outbreak at the Notre-Dame Manor.

The province's education minister says there may have been possible exposure at an elementary school in Bathurst.

There have been three confirmed cases at three different schools in New Brunswick in the last five days.
