NSHA to ease visitor restrictions next week
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says restrictions on hospital visits will be eased beginning next Tuesday.
Under the change hospital inpatients will be permitted to identify one designated essential support person as a visitor.
That person can be a family member or friend, with the designated person being able to rotate on a weekly basis.
Visitors are being encouraged to wear a non-medical mask and must go directly to and from the patient's room.
