One more death, three new COVID-19 cases reported in Nova Scotia Saturday
Nova Scotia is one additional death related to COVID-19 at the Northwood long-term care home in Halifax Regional Municipality, bringing the total province-wide to 47.
Three new cases of COVID-19 were identified on Friday, for a total of 1,011 in Nova Scotia.
There are two licensed long-term care homes and unlicensed seniors' facilities in the province with active cases of COVID-19.
A release states Northwood in Halifax currently has 157 residents and 31 staff with active cases, while one other facility has one staff member with an active case of the virus.
Seven individuals are currently in hospital, two of those in ICU, while 743 individuals have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
To date, Nova Scotia has 33,190 negative test results.
