Potential exposure to COVID-19 at McDonald's in Moncton, N.B.

COVID-19

New Brunswick Public Health is warning of potential exposure to COVID-19 at a McDonald's in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Any Nova Scotians who visited the restaurant, which is approximately 5.5 km from Costco on Morton Avenue, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. from September 28 to October 5 inclusive, should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

If symptoms develop, the individual should immediately self-isolate and complete the online self-assessment to book a COVID-19 test.

Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia's Chief Medical Officer of Health, issued a statement late Friday afternoon, saying public health officials were in contact with their counterparts in New Brunswick.

He added there were no changes to Nova Scotia's border policy concerning the Atlantic Bubble and the situation was being monitored.
