RCMP nab three drivers for stunting in less than 48-hours
Pictou District RCMP say they laid three stunting charges in less than 48 hours last week.
All of the drivers were caught speeding in 110 km/h zones on Highway 104.
Last Wednesday, at noon, a 24-year-old New Glasgow man was charged with stunting after he was clocked at 174 km/h.
Late Thursday night, a 23-year-old man was charged with stunting after he was seen driving at 176 km/h, and then, less than two hours later, an 18-year-old Merigomish man was charged with stunting after being caught driving at 166 km/h.
Two other speeders were also caught and fined, but weren't charged with stunting since the speeds were not 50 km/h, or more, above the posted speed limit.
